The Exam

When all is so cold
I understand why the warmth is so important.
When there is no rain
I know why it is we have to have rain.
The reason we fall
Is to pick ourselves up.
We fail
So that we can learn.
We lose
So we can keep safe.
We cry
So we can understand true happiness.
We die
So we know what it is to truely live.

I don't know about anyone else
But isn't life like everything else.
It is the biggest test,
We learn, we fall, 
We cry.
And if life is a test,
There is something after the exam,
Something rewarding and greater.

All tests we learn,
We revise,
We practice,
We will fail
Until we get it right.
It is then when see
That the test is so easy,
We open the envelope
The mixture of expectation,
Worry and mystery.
We may fail,
But everyone still loves us,
We may pass,
If you do the right thing
Then the test becomes easy,
But either way
The end of that
And something far greater is beyond.
