Once upon a time there was an onion. He was a nice onion, but there was something about him that made him different. He was one of those onions that liked to go on adventures. No other onion would even dream of going on an adventure, too dangerous they say. This onion was called Sam. Yes, it is an odd name for an onion, usually they would be called Bill, Jeremiah or even Kevin. One day it was announced that the princess onion was kidnapped, Sam suddenly thought, 'I must go and save the princess.' It was made clear that the most evil of onions, the mighty red onion, had kidnapped her. He wanted the princess to be traded for the mighty red onion to rule the land, Oniontopia. Sam set off on the adventure with only a carrot sword and a potato slice shield. On this adventure he met many and saw much he learnt of the mighty red onion's whereabouts and set off to go to him. He had an army, Sam needed an army so he requested that the king gave him one, he also told the king to not let his kingdom go. So he kept the kingdom, still very worried about his daughter and let Sam have the army he needed. On the journey he had to fight, he had to lose onions but he had to keep moving forward. Eventually, he reached the tomato soup volcano. And it was there that time changed. The war began, Sam had to find his way to the centre, so using his skills, he killed the red onions and got through, the war still raged, Sam got to the dungeon where the princess was being held. He freed her. If Sam was the onion legends spoke of, the princess and himself could save the kingdom and defeat the mighty red onion. Together they fought to get to the mighty red onions lair and then the real battle begun. The sword of onion legends came to them and they were able to fight the might red onion properly. Swing after swing, hit after hit. They were focused and with their fear, they fought their way to victory. All of the onion land cheered and everything was back to normal. All was happy and the princess and Sam married and had lots of onions. They made good soup. The End.
